A collision sent a cyclist to the hospital after a car collided with them.

On Sunday evening, the driver of the sedan had brought the injured pedestrian to Adelaide Street where paramedics met them.

Police learned that the collision originally happened along Cumberland St N approaching the Marina Park Overpass, while the cyclist was using the crosswalk.

The motorist, a 35-year-old man from Thunder Bay, was arrested for drunk driving and Operation of a Motor Vehicle with Blood Alcohol Concentration (exceeding 80 mg per 100ml of blood).
