The Thunder Bay Airport Air Terminal Building has been reopened following an investigation by Thunder Bay Police into a suspicious package earlier this afternoon.

A release from the Thunder Bay Airport Authority states the building was closed shortly before 5PM this afternoon. Witnesses at the airport state tactical units had arrived at the facility.

However as of 5:13PM the building was deemed safe and was reopened.
