Home Invasion Suspect Held In Custody

A 33-year-old man facing 26 charges in connection with a Quispamsis home invasion earlier this month will remain in custody for now.

The incident took place early on the morning of September 1st at a home on the Gondola Point Road and at the time, police said the homeowner was not hurt but “very frightened.”

The charges against Michael Ingersoll include robbery, forcible confinement, fraud and several firearms offences.

Ingersoll was arrested without incident by members of the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force on September 6th.

On Thursday morning, he participated via conference call during a short court appearance at the Saint John Law Courts.

Ingersoll is scheduled to return to court on October 11th at 9:30 a.m.
