A jury has found Courtney LaBelle guilty of second-degree murder.

The incident in question happened on the morning of Jan. 1, 2020 when emergency services were called to a home in Thunder Bay.

LaBelle was accused of stabbing her 11-year-old son repeatedly, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

She was remanded into custody for a future sentencing hearing.
