Halifax Water is working hard to make sure you still have tap water during the storm,
“Teams have been preparing for the storm, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available for crews to respond to storm-related issues. Staff are currently inspecting our infrastructure to ensure it is operating at full capacity and mitigating any areas of risk.” – Halifax Water news release
The utility is asking homeowners and renters to to ensure that catch basins, culverts, and drains are free of leaves.

If you are dealing with flooding, it should be reported to 311 or their Customer Care Centre 24/7 Emergency Line at 902-420-9287.
Halifax Water recommends you have at least three days’ worth of potable water for each person in the home.
