Police say a Nova Scotia hospital entered lockdown due to a patient wielding a knife on Monday.
Officers responded to a weapons call at Halifax’s QEII shortly before 1 p.m.
The patient was detained without incident.
Police say they found a folding pocket knife and the patient did not use it to commit any criminal offences.
The lockdown was cancelled after the patient was released without charges.
