You can soon roll up your sleeves for your fall booster shot of the COVID-19 vaccine in Nova Scotia.

Appointments will be available starting on Monday for people aged 65 and up.

The rollout will continue over the coming weeks according to age.

If you’re over the age of 18 the Moderna bivalent vaccine will be available.

That vaccine provides protection against the original strain of COVID-19 and Omicron variants.

Meantime, the province is reporting 15 new COVID-19 deaths.

That’s according to the latest weekly data posted to the online dashboard.

There were 39 new hospital admissions.

The province is also reporting more than 1,100 new lab-confirmed cases.
