The Yarmouth Mariners are ready for another MHL season.

They open on the road against Valley tomorrow night, before returning to Mariners Centre to face Summerside in their home-opener Saturday.

Head Coach and General Manager Laurie Barron says they’ve added through the draft and free agency.

“I think we’ve done a very good job. Our team looks competitive with a nice mix of veterans and younger players. Our team is hungry and we can battle with the best of them,” says Barron.

Fan favourites like Ben Roode, Reilly Mayne and Wedgeport native Ryan Semple are back this year, with Christophe Beluse as the number one goaltender.

“I don’t think it will take long for the fans to really like this team. They have a great work ethic, right from the leadership group down.”

Fans can purchase tickets for the home opener at the Mariners Centre box office.

All game times this season in Yarmouth are at 7 p.m.
