“Doors Open For Churches” comes to Yarmouth

A chance to tour some of Yarmouth’s historic churches.

The Heritage Trust of Nova Scotia’s annual “Doors Open For Churches” is in Yarmouth to offer both in person and virtual tours.

Three churches will be open to the public from 4-7 p.m. tomorrow, Holy Trinity Church on William Street, The Ritchie Chapel in Mountain Cemetery and Yarmouth North Baptist Church on Elm Street.

Virtual tours are also taking place on the heritage trust’s Facebook page with photos and information about St Stephen’s Anglican Church, the Tusket Archive Building and the Argyle Historic Church and Cemetery.

The event moves to different parts of the province from the start of July to mid-October.
