The Yarmouth Mariners wrapped up the preseason with a 5-2 win over the Valley Wildcats last night at Mariners Centre.

Jerome Gilbert led the way with two goals, Ryan Semple had three assists and goalie Keegan Warren stopped 23 shots.

The Mariners open the regular season this Friday at Valley, then host Summerside in their home-opener on Saturday night.
