If you’re dreaming of a sunshine getaway this winter, direct flights are returning to the Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport (YQM).

Starting in February, Sunwing and Air Transat will be offering nine flights per week to six destinations in Cuba, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Jamaica.

“Travel recovery is in full swing and we know travelers have been dreaming about returning to popular sun destinations this winter. We are thrilled to announce these dreams can now become a reality,” noted Courtney Burns, airport president and CEO.

A new destination this year is Cayo Coco, Cuba.

“Adding Cayo Coco will allow for a direct flight to another destination in Cuba and we anticipate it will be very popular,” said Burns.

The sunshine flights return after an almost three year absence due to the pandemic.
