There are further efforts to find out who damaged more than 30 trees at the Halifax Public Gardens.
The vandalism took place in late July.
Now, a reward of $50,000 is being offered and a tip line is active through Halifax Police.
Most of the trees are between 50 and 200 years old and it would cost about $350,000 to replace them.
Since the incident, security cameras have been set up at the downtown gardens to deter and prevent another incident from occurring.
