RCMP major crime unit investigating woman’s disappearance

The disappearance of a 32-year-old Nova Scotia woman is now being investigated by the RCMP’s Major Crime Unit.

Cynthia Flemming was last seen on August 29th in Bible Hill. She was reported missing to police a few days later.

The Mounties say despite speaking with witnesses, family and friends, along with following on tips, they’ve not been able to find her.

“When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those that know them,” a news release says. “We askthat people spread the word through social media respectfully.”

Flemming is described as 5’6″ and has shoulder-length blonde hair with dark roots and brown eyes.

She has several tattoos on her arms including a rose and another floral piece.

Police have determined she was wearing a pink tank top and light-coloured pants at the time of her disappearance.

Anyone with information on Flemming’s whereabouts is asked to contact investigators at 902-896-5060. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers.
