Local Racers Compete Stateside

Several area drives were in action at Minnesota tracks, with racing at Emo Speedway finished for the season.

At Hibbing Raceway on Sunday, Jeff Davis of Devlin was 15th in the modified feature. Tanner Williamson of Fort Frances was 16th. Matt Depiero of Fort Frances was 19th. Jamie Davis, also of Fort Frances, was 20th.

Raice Westover of Devlin was 12th in the B-feature.

In the midwest modified feature, Wyatt Boyum of International Falls was eighth. Garrett Paul of Fort Frances was 14th.

Bob Hammond of Fort Frances was 10th ahead of Jesse Thompson, also of Fort Frances, in 11th in a B-feature

On Saturday, Davis was 19th in the modified feature, with Depeiro in 21st and Westover a spot back in 22nd.

Williamson of Fort Frances failed to make the feature, finishing 6th in a B-main.

Jamie Davis missed the big event as well with a fifth place showing in the other B-main.

In the midwest modified feature, Boyum was eighth. Paul was 13th.

Scott Thompson of International Falls placed 11th in a B-main

Jesse Thompson missed making the cut with a 4th place showing a B-main.

Bob Hammond of Fort Frances was eighth in the same race, while Kalan Wagner of International Falls placed twelve.

At Greenbush on Sunday, Brandon Pelepetz of Emo was eighth, while Cameron Brown of Rainy River was ninth in the modified feature.

Cody Ossachuk of Fort Frances failed to finish the mid-west modified feature and placed 19th.

Jaxon Strachan of Devlin was seventh in a B-feature.

Garret Gamsby of Stratton raced to an eighth-place finish in the Street Stock feature.

On Saturday, Brown was sixth in the modified feature. Brody Strachan was 11th, with Pelepetz was 12th.

In the mid-west modified feature, Glen Strachan of Devlin was fifth, with Ossachuk in eighth.

Jaxon Strachan was fifth in a B-feature.

Gamsby raced to a ninth-place finish in the Street Stock feature.

At Viking Speedway in Alexandria on Saturday, Brady Caul of Fort Frances was 19th in the modified feature. He was 16th in Sunday’s race.
