Diesel prices will shift in Nova Scotia heading into the long weekend.
The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board has announced the price will be adjusted at midnight.
“This change is necessary due to significant shifts in the market price of diesel oil,” a news release says.
Reports suggest the cost will drop by about nine cents per litre.
The price of gas will not be impacted.
The regular weekly adjustment on Friday saw the price of gas drop about 7 cents per litre to about $1.57, depending on where you live.
Diesel saw a slight decline of nearly a cent to $1.98.
