Police say a man wielding a golf club and a lit aerosol spray can is facing charges after a robbery at a Halifax store.

Investigators were called to the Canadian Tire on Chain Lake Drive at around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Police say the man walked into the business and threatened staff.

One worker was hurt, but their injuries are described as non-life-threatening.

The 30-year-old ran away with cash but was quickly arrested.

Jordan Bernard Burke McIntosh is facing three counts of robbery, five counts of assault with a weapon, and two counts of possession of a weapon.

He was scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court on Friday.
