Newcomers to Greater Moncton from Latin American countries are being invited on a walking tour of the city.

Hola New Brunswick, a non-profit organization dedicated to settlement services, has organized the tour.

Hola says the initiative is part of integration efforts so newcomers can learn more about the city, its history, its government and services.

The Know Your City tour will begin at Resurgo Place at 10 a.m. Friday and make its way to Main Street by 12:15 p.m.

The group will be received at Moncton City Hall at 1:30 p.m. and will arrive at the Moncton Public Library at 3 p.m.

The final stop will be Riverfront Park for some refreshments at around 4 p.m.
