UPDATED: KV Police Investigate Quispamsis Home Invasion

By Tamara Steele Sep 1, 2022 | 2:55 PM

Police in the Kennebecasis Valley are investigating a reported home invasion in Quispamsis,

Kennebecasis regional police say it happened on Gondola Point Road early Thursday morning.

“We’ve determined the male suspect who entered a home on Gondola Point Road was wearing an orange plaid button-up collared shirt, blue jeans, black canvas sneakers with white on the bottom, a black balaclava [and] a beige ball cap,” Insp. Anika Becker said in an interview.

Police urge the public to use caution if any man in their late 20s to late 30s approaches their home.

The homeowner was not hurt but was “very frightened,” said Becker.

She said investigators think the man was in the neighbourhood for a few hours.

“We’re asking any residents that have doorbell cameras or dash cameras on their cars who may have been driving through that area this morning, early, to have a look at that to see if they may have captured anything,” Becker said.

Police want members of the public to call them immediately if they see anyone acting suspiciously in their neighborhood.

If you have any information on this crime or wish to report a suspicious person, contact the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force at 506-847-6300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
