Riverside Foundation for Health Care is marking the return of its fall gala with a special significance.

The fundraising arm for Riverside Health Care was established 25 years ago this month.

Director Allison Cox says this year’s gala will recognize that achievement.

“We’re really excited about getting to celebrate the past 25 years of the accomplishments for the Riverside Foundation,” says Cox. “We’ve got some new draws planned that will kind of highlight that number 25, and then just a few different little ways that we hope to bring highlights to some of the past things that the foundation has done over the past 25 years.”

The event is scheduled for October 22.

Tickets are not yet on sale. The Foundation is focusing its attention on soliciting sponsors.

“We did some sponsorship packages out in late July, but if you’ve misplaced one or you didn’t receive one and are interested, you can reach out to me at the foundation office. All of our level sponsorships come with ten complimentary tickets.”

There are also sponsorship opportunities that don’t come with tickets.

Cox notes that they have many dedicated sponsors who return their support each year that help the Foundation in a huge way.

This year’s gala is presented by MNP.

Cox says their special events committee will also be reaching out for items to be sold during live and silent auctions to be held.

Money raised will go to the purchase of a panda warmer for use in the birthing unit at LaVerendrye Hospital.

The Foundation also welcomes volunteers to assist on the night of the celebration.
