N.B. Gas Prices Could Drop

By Allan Dearing Aug 31, 2022 | 5:09 PM

As we head into the last holiday weekend of summer, gas prices could be heading down in New Brunswick.

Dan McTeague, president of Canadians for Affordable Energy, believes gasoline may drop by about 8 cents per litre this week.

However, he thinks diesel could go up by as much as 10 cents per litre.

The current maximum for regular self-serve is $1.752 and the current maximum for diesel is $2.069.

Prices will be adjusted at midnight by the Energy and Utilities Board.
