You can now head to Williamswood for bottled water if well running dry

If you have a dry well the municipality is adding another location for water pick up.

Starting Tuesday you can now head to Station 62 on Old Sambro Road in Williamswood to get some drinking water.

There are now eight locations open on Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

  1. Station 23 – 5543 Highway #7, Chezzetcook
  2. Station 29 – 28975 Highway #7, Moser River
  3. Station 38 – 36 Glenmore Road, Middle Musquodoboit (available from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily from Monday to Friday)
  4. Station 42 – 4132 #2 Highway, Wellington (exterior tap available 24/7)
  5. Station 48 – 1581 Beaver Bank Road
  6. Station 56 – 8579 St Margarets Bay Road, Black Point
  7. Station 62 – 2417 Old Sambro Road, Williamswood (available beginning on Tuesday, August 30)
  8. Station 65 – 17 Scholars Road, Upper Tantallon

You’re asked to report any water supply issues to 311.

“Each household will receive two liters per person per day, as well as one liter per day per pet,” a news release says. “Residents may collect one week’s supply at a time.”
