Two men are facing several charges after a gas station robbery in the city last week.
Halifax Regional Police were called to the Irving on Lacewood Drive shortly before 3 a.m. on Thursday.
They say a man with a knife walked in and stole cash and cigarettes before taking off in a car with a second suspect. Investigators quickly tracked the pair down and arrested them.
Andrew Claude Campbell, 34, has been charged with robbery, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, flight from police, and dangerous driving.
Twenty-nine-year-old Christopher Douglas Picco is facing robbery, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, resisting arrest, and four counts of breaching probation.
Police say Picco is also facing charges in two other recent robberies at the Circle K and the Needs on Herring Cove Road.
Both men appeared in Halifax Provincial Court last week.
