Yarmouth Town RCMP says they have safely located the 80-year-old Yarmouth man that had been missing since Saturday.

A release was sent out on Monday that provided a description of the man and explained he may have been looking to hitchhike to Ontario.

RCMP did not provide further details about how he was found but they did extend their thanks to the community for sharing information pertaining to the missing man on social media.
