A Moncton man suffered what are believed to be serious, life-threatening injuries in a hit and run involving a cyclist.
Around 11 a.m. on Sunday, Codiac RCMP were called to a collision at the intersection of Morton Avenue and Mascaret Street where police believe a car was passing two cyclists and struck one of them.
The driver fled the scene.
The 26-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital.
On Tuesday afternoon, Codiac RCMP said a vehicle of interest had been identified and thanked the public for their help.
Police had released surveillance photos of the car in hopes someone recognized the vehicle.
