Those looking for help when it comes to writing a resume, interview skills, or just looking for a job have a new space to visit.

The Northwest Employment Works (NEW) office has been recently renovated and upgraded in Thunder Bay.

Located beside Confederation College, the NEW offices are able to accommodate people who want to work on their own as there are many workstations available. There are also small meeting rooms and a boardroom available for those who need it.

NEW offers services for those that are looking to start or improve their resume, they are also able to help job seekers prepare for interviews.

They also offer services in two other locations; Dryden and Marathon. Many of NEW’s services and tools can also be found online.

Businesses looking for employees are also able to use NEW’s services as they will help find people for the jobs employers are looking to fill, collect resumes as well as offering to help train new and existing employees through Provincial grants and training initiatives.

All of these services are available to use for free.
