A 31-year-old man from Saint-André has died following a single-vehicle crash involving an all-terrain vehicle in northwestern New Brunswick.

On Sunday, at approximately 7:50 a.m., members of the Saint-Léonard RCMP, Drummond Fire Department, and Ambulance New Brunswick responded to a report of an ATV crash.

Officials say it happened on Davis Mill Road in the Local Service District of Drummond.

According to the RCMP, the driver and sole occupant of the ATV died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

“The crash is believed to have occurred when the driver lost control of the ATV, left the roadway, and struck several trees,” reads an RCMP release.

The coroner’s office is assisting with the ongoing investigation, and an autopsy will be scheduled to determine the man’s exact cause of death.

The crash remains under investigation.
