For the second day this week, the emergency department at the Sackville Memorial Hospital will be closed.

Due to staffing shortages, Horizon Health Network says the ER will be closed on Saturday but will reopen on Sunday at 8 a.m.

Anyone who needs urgent care will have to visit another hospital.

Horizon suggests other options for non-urgent care such as sowhywait.ca and  evisit.nb.ca.

The Sackville ER is typically open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
