Saint John is getting another Cannabis NB store in the coming weeks.

There are job postings on the Crown corporation’s website for a new store in the “west Saint John area.”

Cannabis NB is looking to hire an assistant store manager and “occasional” customer experience representatives.

Emilie Dow, a communications specialist with Cannabis NB, confirmed the organization is planning to open a new store “in early fall.”

“We will be sharing more information on its exact location once it has been confirmed,” Dow wrote in an email on Wednesday.

While the Crown corporation declined to say where the new location will be, some recently-installed signage offers plenty of clues.

A sign with Cannabis NB’s logo and the words “COMING SOON!” is posted in the window of a vacant storefront at 20 Plaza Avenue, between First Choice Haircutters and H&R Block, on the west side.

The “Find a Store” section on the agency’s website also lists a location at 20 Plaza Avenue in Saint John.

Cannabis NB currently has three locations in Saint John: Rothesay Avenue on the east side, Lansdowne Avenue in the north end, and the Container Village on Water Street uptown.

There are also locations in Rothesay, Sussex, and St. Stephen.
