A vehicle accident has caused a power outage in Digby.
The RCMP say at 9:40 a.m. this morning a tractor trailer was travelling through the intersection of Church and Queen St. when it hooked the power lines and brought them down, resulting in a power pole being knocked down as well.
The driver of the tractor trailer wasn’t injured, nor was anyone else in the area.
Nova Scotia Power is working to restore power to customers in Digby.
They say 228 customers have been affected and anticipate power will be returned this evening.
