A man has been injured in a workplace incident in the city on Monday.

Halifax Regional Police were called to Massachusetts Avenue at around 1 p.m.

They were told the 59-year-old fell from a piece of equipment and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Department of Labour is investigating the incident.
