You’ll want to keep your foot off the gas pedal when cruising around a Spryfield neighbourhood.
The top speed will drop from 50 to 40 km per hour on several streets bound by Herring Cove, Drysdale, and Williams Lake Roads.
The municipality says the change is to help improve road safety.
The impacted streets include the following: St Michaels Avenue, Lois Lane, Abrams Way, Hartlen Avenue, Pine Grove Avenue, Inspector Court, Theakston Avenue, Keyworth Lane, Danforth Road, Martello Way, Emerald Crescent, Drysdale Road, River Road, Aldergrove Drive and Levis Street.
Crews will post the new signs this week.
