An RCMP presence at a motel on Saturday morning in Yarmouth County.

Corporal Chris Marshall says there was an incident in Meteghan earlier in the morning related to a man in distress.

The man was then located at a motel on Highway 1 in Dayton, and the situation was ultimately resolved peacefully.

RCMP had the road in front of the motel blocked off during the investigation.
