Sussex area residents can expect to see and hear a large military presence from August 12 to 16.

Approximately 14 to 18 Canadian Armed Forces members of the 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise’s) will participate in training activities in the Sussex area.

Residents can expect to see military vehicles and soldiers with weapons on area roads.

As well, residents will hear loud noises from simulated munitions and shouting coming from the Department of National Defence property.

Flares will also be used during this exercise.

Any use of pyrotechnics and blank ammunition will be confined to the Department of National Defence property.
