Another successful ball tournament in Hebron over the weekend.
This time, $14,500 was raised for Yarmouth’s Josh Atkins and his family.
Atkins suffered a head injury after a fall earlier this year, and is on his journey to recovery.
His friend Brandon Trask says the funds raised will help Atkins family with expenses.
“There were a lot of new and old faces over the weekend, and the auction was very busy. Every cent goes to them, to make sure they don’t have to worry about money. That’s the last thing they need to worry about, it’s all about helping Josh,” says Trask.
Nineteen teams took part in the two-day tournament.
Heritage Brewing in Yarmouth also donated a portion of their sales over the weekend to the fundraiser.
