The Weekender: West Pubnico’s Chloe d’Eon Shares A Stage With A Canadian Pop Star

In this week’s episode: we check in at the Western Nova Scotia Exhibition at Mariners Centre, and a feature on Chloe d’Eon, a West Pubnico singer who got to share the stage with a Canadian pop star last weekend.

Candice Phibbs also speaks with Ryan McIntyre for an update on the World Double Bit Axe Throwing Championships in Barrington later this month.

Monday will mark the start of the first La S’Maine Acadienne de Par en Bas. Jakob Postlewaite speaks with President Roger d’Entremont about the week-long celebration of Acadian culture.

The Weekender is an award-winning news program produced by Y95 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The show tells the stories of the Tri-Counties – in-depth interviews, background stories, looks at the local entertainment and music scenes and so much more. It is our finger on the pulse of the region that includes Yarmouth, Digby, and Shelburne.

There are now many ways to listen to the program. It originally airs Saturday at 9 a.m. on 95.5 CJLS in Yarmouth, 93.5 in Digby, and 96.3 in Shelburne.
