A heads up if you’re planning to cruise the roads this weekend.

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board has announced it’s bringing in the interrupter clause to adjust pump prices for both gas and diesel at midnight.

“This change is necessary due to significant shifts in the market prices of gasoline and diesel oil,” a news release says.

Reports suggest gas will drop by around 10 cents and diesel eight cents.

When Nova Scotians woke up on Friday they saw a big drop in both with the weekly adjustment.

The price of regular is selling for around $1.73 per litre after a nine-cent drop.

Diesel prices fell over six cents to just over $1.80.
