A Fort Frances woman is the latest winner of Riverside Foundation for Health Care’s monthly 50/50 cash draw.

Fay Davis takes home just over $11 thousand.

She plans to use the winnings on the upkeep of a family hunting shack in the Manitou Lake area.

Tickets for August’s draw are now on sale.

They can be obtained online at www.riverside5050.ca or by calling the Foundation Office at 274-4803 to arrange for offline sales.

The early bird draw for $500 will take place on August 17.

Proceeds this year are going toward new monitoring equipment in the operating room.

These monitors, which come at a price tag of $23,000 each, monitor patients’ pulse, blood pressure, respirations, cardiac rhythms and oxygen saturations.

To date, approximately $33,000 has been raised.
