The Department of Fisheries and Oceans seized a vessel and 128 lobster last month at the Saulnierville Wharf.

On July 20th fishery officers made the seizures and arrested two individuals who were later released.

The lobster was released live back into the ocean.

DFO says the incident is part of an ongoing investigation and have not been able to provide more information or confirm other details.

In a statement DFO says any fishing without or in contravention of a licence is considered unauthorized, and is subject to enforcement action.
