Road rage has put two people in handcuffs along Hwy 17.

Near Nipigon, OPP got a call that a car had rammed a motorbike off the road, didn’t remain at the scene and was travelling more than 180 km/hr.

Police blocked the highway and found the driver and passengers on a back road.

Two people from BC were arrested and police seized quite a bit of fentanyl, hydromorphone, morphine, crystal meth and cocaine. Officers also found several cell phones, a combat knife and a baton in the car.

Both suspects are facing a total of 16 combined charges.
