Two Argyle men have been charged in relation to a shot being fired from a boat near Chebogue Point.
On July 21st police arrested a 28-year-old man and 39-year-old man in relation to their investigation into the incident.
They were both released from custody on conditions and are facing charges of Careless Use of a Firearm and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. The 39-year-old man is also facing a Dangerous Operation of a Vessel charge.
Both will appear in Yarmouth Provincial Court on September 26th.
Yarmouth Rural RCMP responded a complaint of a shot being fired from a boat near Chebogue Point on July 20th. They learned that the boat was approaching another vessel, when a man fired a shot in the air.
There were no injuries.
Fisheries and Oceans Canada assisted the investigation.
