A Fort Frances business owner has died following an accident involving two personal watercraft on Rainy Lake.

The accident happened late Friday afternoon.

Deputies with Koochiching County Sheriff’s Office responded as their boat was already in the water.

65-year-old Brian Craig Sanders was transported to Rainy Lake Medical Centre in International Falls, where would be pronounced dead.

Sanders was the owner of The Place.
