Modified Automatic Weapon Found In Drug Search

Thunder Bay Police found some interesting things when doing a search of a home on Lincoln St.

On Wednesday, officers brought a search warrant to a home on Lincoln Street just after 8pm. Police found multiple people inside the home along with a load of drugs including crack cocaine and fentanyl.

The most troubling find for officers was a semi-automatic rifle that had a device on it allowing it to be fired as an automatic weapon.

Two men 25 year old men from Brampton have been charged with various offences including drug and weapons charges.

Both appeared in bail court on Thursday, July 28 and were remanded into custody with future appearance dates.
