Two people were arrested in a police investigation spanning two days around Dryden.

OPP officers made the arrests Friday afternoon between Meadows Road and Thunder Lake Road.

Earlier in the day, residents were told to stay away from the area and report any suspicious activity.

On Thursday, officers were searching the Airport Road area and warned drivers not to pick up any hitchhikers.

No other details on why the two were arrested were given and police did not say if charges were pending.

An update is expected in the coming days.
