Saint John utility bills still due despite postal strike

By Brad Perry Nov 22, 2024 | 5:30 AM

The City of Saint John is reminding customers that they still need to pay their utility bills.

City staff are unable to mail bills for meter customers printed on Nov. 14 due to the Canada Post strike.

Officials said money owed is still due by Dec. 17 and late penalties may apply.

Payments for water and sewer bills, as well as parking tickets, can be made by phone, in person or online.

Mail that is addressed to the City of Saint John can be dropped off at City Hall during regular business hours.

Anyone who is uncertain about an outstanding invoice or has any other questions is encouraged to contact the City of Saint John Customer Service Centre.

You can call 506-658-4455, email service@saintjohn.ca or drop by the ground floor of City Hall (15 Market Square) Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
