Increases across the board for fuel this week.

The maximum cost for regular self-serve is up to 1.6 cents a litre to around $1.60.

Furnace oil increased by 4.2 cents.

Diesel prices jumped even higher by 5.4 cents.

Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of $1.60 per litre for regular self-serve, $1.78 per litre for diesel and $1.47 per litre for home heating oil.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.56 to $1.60 per litre, while diesel sells for between $1.73 and $1.77 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.65 per litre, diesel costs around $1.82 per litre, and home heating oil sells for a maximum of $1.26 per litre.
