Saint John police are turning to the public for help as they investigate an arson.

First responders were called to Frederick Street, off Rothesay Avenue, around 7:50 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators believe the suspect gained access to the building through the back door.

The structure and a number of vehicles inside received “considerable” damage, said police.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area who has video surveillance.
