N.B. gas prices up this week

Another week of increases at the gas pumps.

Prices rose overnight with the weekly adjustments by the Energy and Utilities Board.

The maximum for regular self-serve is up 2.1 cents a litre to around $1.56.

Diesel and furnace oil are also up by around 1.5 cents a litre.

Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of $1.56 per litre for regular self-serve, $1.62 per litre for diesel, and $1.33 per litre for home heating oil.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.51 to $1.55 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.59 and $1.63 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.59 per litre, diesel costs around $1.65 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.11 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
