A 28-year-old man is facing attempted murder charges after a stabbing in Beechville.
RCMP say it was just after midnight Sunday when two men, known to each other, got into a fight outside a home on Hamilton Street.
That’s when one stabbed the other in the torso with knife, multiple times.
A 35-year-old man from Timberlea was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
The suspect, from Beechville, then ran into the woods nearby.
He will appear in court today facing these charges:
- Attempt to Commit Murder
- Aggravated Assault
- Assault with a Weapon
The investigation is ongoing.
