As Hurricane Ernesto tracks north, it’s expected to impact Bermuda but remain well south of Nova Scotia this weekend.
The Hurricane Centre says the Category 2 will likely cause large ocean swells along Nova Scotia’s Atlantic coast late Saturday.
Hazardous surf and rip currents are possible.
The storm’s centre is expected to approach southeastern Newfoundland later Monday.
Our region could see rain, but not a lot of wind.
The ECCC Canadian Hurricane Centre says it will provide an update at 3 p.m. Friday.
