By Kelli Rickard Aug 13, 2024 | 7:47 AM

It was 35 years ago that Kimberly McAndrew went missing in Halifax.

Nineteen-year-old McAndrew left the Canadian Tire store on Quinpool Road where she worked as a cashier on August 12th, 1989.

It was reported that she was spotted later at a flower shop at Penhorn Mall in Dartmouth.

McAndrew was last seen wearing pleated navy slacks, a white short-sleeved “Esprit” t-shirt with red and green squares, a navy oversized cardigan, and jade green flat-heeled loafers.

Police continue to investigate McAndrew’s disappearance. They believe there are people who know what happened to her.

The McAndrew case is part of Nova Scotia’s Major Unsolved Crimes reward program which offers up to $150,000 for information leading to arrests and convictions.

Anyone with information on Kimberly’s disappearance is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020.
